 Camper guidelines

We're glad YOU are here and hope you enjoy your visit with us.  Our desire is that you will be edified and built up in the Lord, and that you will have many pleasant memories and a desire to return!  Let us know if you have questions or if we can be of assistance.  Policies and procedures are listed below to help you feel comfortable and at ease.

l.       Camp and retreat participants must register when arriving.

2.      Speed limit is 10 MPH.  Please do not drive beyond the parking lot without first checking with a staff member.  There is no driving in the meadow.  Campers staying in cabins should drive to the meadow, unload, then drive back to the lodge and park there.  Please use our second driveway to drive to the meadow.  Do not drive on the Lodge pond road.

3.      NO SMOKING while on Ranch property.  County regulations do not allow individual campfires.  Throw trash in cans provided.

4.      Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are prohibited.

5.      All behavior, activities, dress, and language must be in keeping with Biblical principles.  (Romans 12, 13, 14; I CO. 13)

6.      Swimming is allowed only in the swim pond and only when a CEM lifeguard is on duty.

7.      When boating or canoeing, all people must wear life jackets.

8.      Observe water safety rules when fishing in the ponds.  Do not fish past "NO FISHING" signs at the swim pond.      Treat your "too small" catch gently when putting it back so it can grow up to be caught again.

9.      Children must be supervised, especially in these hazardous areas--boat dock, irrigation ditch, ponds, near animals.

10.    No pets.

11.    If you need to make a phone call, a phone is available in the Ranch Office from 8 am to 5 pm.  A staff member will open the office if you have an emergency outside of business hours.

12.    "Trough" store hours will be announced. You can purchase refreshments, shirts, etc.

13.    No food or drink inside the cabins or in the lodge living room.

14.    We are always happy to put "willing hands" to work.  Please check with the Camp Director.

15.    If your visit is for an extended period, you may be contacted at: (530) 268-0877, l7l83 Retrac Way, Grass Valley, CA  95949.

 Untalent night guidelines:

Untalent Night is a time for our families to relax, have fun, and laugh together.  Laughter is good for our health and great for bonding.  We want to keep all our skits and presentations light, funny, entertaining, and clean.  Following are some general guidelines to follow.

1.   Untalent only.  Let's save the real talent for serious times.

2.   Keep all skits and presentations clean—no crudity.

3.   No skits that involve the sharing of germs—e.g. sharing the toothbrushing water at camp.

4.   Avoid skits and presentations that glorify things of the world.

5.   Parents—please preview your kids' skits.

6.   Keep all presentations short—1-3 minutes.
