Christian Encounter High School was started by CEM in 1977, and exists solely to serve the residents of CEM.

We are duly registered with the state of California and teach traditional courses with classes no larger than twelve. Those students who complete their requirements with us receive a CEHS diploma. If it is the best option, through our regular classes, we occasionally prepare a student for the GED tests.  This is very unusual, as most students are able to get their diplomas.

Love and individualized attention are the hallmarks of our dedicated staff, who consistently emphasize excellence, discipline, good attitude, and thorough completion of each assignment. Our primary goal for each student is a healthy, growing relationship with Jesus as Savior and Lord. As this foundation becomes solid, growth in motivation, discipline, knowledge and Godliness carry over to the classroom.
