Solving and Preventing that Weight Problem

Lately I’ve been weighed down with a load like the national debt.  Piling on one care after another, I feel like the camel taking on that one additional straw that broke his back. They appeared as legitimate concerns for others which I should and could handle. No one else was taking care of these people and their needs, so it must be up to me.  But as the weight has been mounting this past year, I have noticed I am praying so much more. In response, God seems to be saying that the problem is not the problems themselves but how I have been handling them (or trying to). As I try to manage this weight problem, three insights have already come to mind.  I share these because they can give God glory and may be helpful to you.

Agony Blessings

The Agony ride was just over a week ago, and the blessings were amazing.  Not only were the physical accomplishments of miles and money enormous, but God was at work in the hearts of His body.  We heard so many amazing stories of the Lord at work!
