WHAT TO BRING
THINGS TO BRING TO FAMILY CAMP
______ modest clothes for hot afternoons and cool evenings
______ sturdy walking shoes
______ warm jackets and hats (there have been a few unseasonably cold Family Camps!)
______ modest swim wear (no Bay Watch swim suits here)
______ swim toys; life vests if you have them, especially for small children (we have a very limited number of children's life vests)
______ beach towels
______ shoes you can get wet (required for tubing in the irrigation canal)
______ camping gear if staying in tent or RV
______ sleeping bags and pillows (a light-weight sleeping bag liner or sheet is nice if it's hot)
______ fan if staying in a cabin
______ flashlights
______ personal items/toiletries/soap/hand towel
______ bath towels/shower items
______ Bible, notebook, pen
______ insect repellant (West Nile virus continues to be a problem in California)
______ sunscreen, chapstick
______ lawn chairs
______ camera
______ water jugs and cups/sports water bottles
______ high chair or booster for small children if they need them
______ truck inner tubes to donate (we're always a bit short on tubes for floating down the irrigation ditch)
Please do not bring:

______ fireworks (they are illegal in Nevada County)
