Business Office Opening

​Do you love Jesus, care about at-risk youth, and value financial stewardship? We are looking for a high-integrity, high-skills individual to run our business office and manage the resources God had given us. Come use your accounting and financial skills to expand the Kingdom of God through a unique ministry!

• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Comply with federal, state, GAAP, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain internal standards for fair presentation of all financial statements and to maintain ECFA Membership
• Prepare necessary records annually as requested by the CPA
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze annual budget
• Analyze Financial Statements and report to management regarding the finances of the ministry
• Review all expenditures for validity, accuracy, and competitive pricing – including coordinating with all departments regarding expenditures
• Reconcile monthly bank/investment statements and record coordinating journal entries - including handling outstanding and returned checks
• Manage cash flow
• Manage line of credit, investments, trusts, stocks, and bonds – including coordinating with brokers & donors
• Manage vehicle donations – including decision to accept, and DMV & IRS required forms
• Research and implement State and Federal law changes that effect accounting/business operations
• Review & negotiate all insurances (liability, workers’ comp, vehicle, etc.)
• Maintain trademarks as necessary
• Obtain legal advice and preparation of legal documents as necessary
• Oversee all Business Office tasks and responsibilities (such as payroll and related taxes, accounts receivable, accounts payable, HR related items, etc.)
• Coordinate with/delegate work to Bookkeeper/Accountant as needed; appraise performance; address complaints and resolve problems as necessary

Salary range:
Full-time
Base pay: $16.50-$21.00
Either free on-campus housing or a monthly housing allowance (on top of base pay) are included, as well as an additional benefit package.
